In the article titled, "Serum copper and zinc levels in preeclamptic Nigerian women" published in pages 182-184, issue 3, vol. 57 of Nigerian Medical Journal [1] , the first sentence under the Results section is written incorrectly as "Of the total 102 pregnant women, 48 were non- and pre-eclamptic while 54 were preeclamptic." instead of "Of the total 102 pregnant women, 54 were pre-eclamptic (Subjects) while 48 were non pre-eclamptic (Controls)".

In the {Table 1}, column 2 heading is written incorrectly as "Non- and pre-eclamptic (%)" instead of "Control (%)" and column 3 heading is written incorrectly as "Preeclamptic (%)" instead of "Subjects (%)".

In the {Table 2}, the title of the table is written incorrectly as "Levels of biochemical parameters in preeclamptic and non- and pre-eclamptic women" instead of "Levels of biochemical parameters in Subjects and Control". The column 2 first subheading is written incorrectly as "Patients age (n=54)" instead of "Subjects age ( n=54)". Additionally, the word "Copper (μmol/)" under the column 1 is incorrect and should be written as "Copper (μmol/l)".

The first sentence under the Conclusion section is written incorrectly as "Our study showed a significant reduction in the levels of copper and Zn in preeclamptic women when compared with non- and pre-eclamptic women." instead of "Our study showed a significant reduction in the levels of copper and zinc in preeclamptic women when compared with non pre-eclamptic women."
